We won 6-4 and i won my single 4-0 against Bert Stavast,i also played the solo,and won 4-2 against Bert Veltman. Last Friday in Cafe De Bieb,Steenwijk, was once again the Finals of the Steenwijk Individual Darts Championships. After 4 preliminary rounds there were 8 men left over,and these were drawn into 2 groups of 4.Group A was Paul Chapman, Mark Wemer, Pieter Bloksma and Pieter Collijn. Paul Chapman, who last year could not defend his title as he was sick,came first in the group and Pieter Collijn second. Group B was Pieter Veter, John Hulleman, Patrick Jansen and Ruud Termeulen. The first and second place was more intriguing in this group as Pieter,John and Ruud had all won 2 matches,but because of a better leg average Pieter was first in the group and John,who had the same statistics as Ruud,went through as he won is match against Ruud. In the Semi-Finals Paul Chapman had to play John Hulleman and Pieter Veter had to play Pieter Collijn. Paul Chapman and Pieter Veter won both their matches 2-0 in sets. The Final between Paul Chapman and Pieter Veter was the Best of 7 sets. The first 2 sets were decided by a 5th leg,Paul won both sets and opened up a 3-0 lead. The 4th set Paul missed 4 Championship darts en Pieter profited from this and closed the gap to 3-1 in sets.But the next set gave the victory to Paul with the help of a 145 finish in the second leg. Paul could finally receive the magnificent trophy for the second time in 3 years. It was just as exiting by the ladies. After 1 preliminary round there was 6 ladies left: defending Champion Cindy Zeefat, Antje Stelma, Femke van Zuiden, Leonie Scholten, Geesje Haven en Helma Knol. The ladies were then drawn in 2 groups of 3. Group A was Cindy Zeefat, Femke van Zuiden and Helma Knol.The high scoring Femke van Zuiden came first in the group and Cindy Zeefat was second. Group B Antje Stelma, Leonie Scholten and Geesje Haven.Antje Stelma came first in the group and Leonie Scholten was second.The Semi-Finals were Cindy against Antje and Femke against Leonie.Cindy and Femke won both their matches 2-0 in sets. In the Final, Femke van Zuiden had to play Cindy Zeefat, whom, if she won,could keep the trophy at home for another year. The ladies gave their all and a high standard of darts was thrown. Femke missed 2 Championship darts to win 2-0 in sets, but Cindy was not ready to hand over her beautiful trophy to somebody else. Eventually it was Cindy who won 2-1 in sets( 0-3,3-2,3-1 ) and could take the trophy home for her 4th year in a row.

The Finals from the Knockout Pairs was played tonight in the Snooker Centrum,Steenwijk.In the Finals we played a Round Robin format(was 3 Pairs in the Final - Rudy Ketting/Michel Dolstra,Paul Chapman/Chris Iedema & Richard Veenstra/Theunis bakker). The first match was Rudy Ketting/Michel Dolstra against Richard Veenstra/Theunis bakker.This was won by Richard Veenstra/Theunis bakker 6-3. The next match was Rudy Ketting/Michel Dolstra against Paul Chapman/Chris Iedema.We won 6-1 here are the results : Singles(1 point per match-Best of 5/501) Chris v Rudy 3-1 Pairs(1 point per match-501/Tactics/701) Chris/Paul v Rudy/Michel 2-0 The last match was Richard Veenstra/Theunis bakker against Paul Chapman/Chris Iedema.Because both Pairs won their first matches,it meant the winner from this match would be the Knockout Pairs Champions of 2007.We won 6-3 here are the results : My fourth round of the individuals was played tonight in the Caram-Bar,Steenwijk.I was in a group of four.I won all 3 matches, 3-0 against Harm-jan van Rosmalen,3-1 against Mark Wemer and 3-1 against Mark Mom. My second round of the individuals was played tonight in the Karre,Tuk.I was in a group of five.I won all 4 matches , 3-1 against Willem Supheert,3-0 against Tom Kef,3-0 against Ronald Bisschop and 3-2 against Michael Day (130 finish 4th leg). Our last game of the competition(2nd half) was played tonight,home against Stynsgea 1,Augustinusga.We won 5-4 and i won my single 3-0 against Aize Vonk. I played the German Open this weekend in Bochum,Singles and Pairs(together with Evert Kluitenberg).On Friday 20th April,Evert and I entered the warm-up pairs.We won our first 3 games (Best of 5/501),3-0(Finnish Pair),3-1(Dutch Pair)& 3-0(German Pair),but finally lost 3-1 in the last 16 to Buzzard/Green(England).In the Singles(Best of 5/501) on Saturday the 21st,my opponent from Holland didn't turn up,so a walkover 3-0,i then beat Gary Reed(England) 3-0,but lost the next game 3-0 against Willem Kralt(Holland).On Sunday the 22nd Evert and I played the Pairs(Best of 5/501),in the first round we won 3-0(Holland Pair),but the next game we lost 3-2 against Daniel van Mourik/Ruffie(Holland).So the weekend was over, i had a great time and would like to thank Evert Kluitenberg and his girlfriend Jose Schrik for a great weekend.
